Ranch Hand - Horse Trainer:

We are seeking a full time, long term, motivated, self starter, horse trainer/ranch worker who can work independently, unsupervised and with a professional manner. Someone flexible because no two days are the same.

Here is a little about us:

We have 130 head of horses, mules and donkeys with a small breeding program.

We provide YMCA camps and Loretta Lynn’s Dude Ranch with horses.

We do guided trail rides at our ranch.

We are willing to teach to right person to drive wagons and carriages.

Job includes: horses training, medicating, daily care, presenting horses for sale, fencing and general ranch work. We have several young horses that need to be started and others that need their training finished, we train them to be child safe.

We will provide you with a 2 bedroom cabin on our property with electric, water and propane paid. You will be paid salary plus commission on horses sold and tips from horseback rides.

Ferrier experience a plus or willing to learn.

A person who pays attention to details would be well suited for this position. In addition, someone who can oversee the general care and maintenance of the facilities would be preferred. We have no preference to male / female and we are open to someone young who wants to get their feet wet working on a ranch.
